Thinking S-P-O-O-K-Y!!

Fall is officially here! And brings with it the busiest time of the year for me - and not even all holiday related - birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers.

But, it's not too early to start thinking about HALLOWEEN! It will be here before you know it! Keep me in mind for cakes, cupcakes & candies - even teachers appreciate sweet treats at Halloween!

Not just birthdays, special occasions too!

This setup will likely get it's own post soon, for all the details, as there was more than just a topper cake & mini cupcakes. For now, though a 6" cake with matching mini cupcakes for a School Board candidate's Meet & Greet.

A baby shower cake (made to coordinate with the mom-to-be's nursery & the invitation)

My first "official" wedding cake - a 6" topper to go with the 9 dozen cupcakes & 6 dozen mini cupcakes. I'm waiting for pictures from the event of the entire set up!

And last but not least, not a special occasion cake but one that I had fun creating! This cake was ordered by a friend who wanted to "show me off" at her office so she gave me free reign. I think it's adorable!

2 weeks of birthday cakes!

It's certainly been busy around The Sweet Spot! As my husband put it, we're smack in the middle of "birthday season". I scoffed at him when he mentioned it, but given the amount of cakes I've done in the last 2 weeks, well, I'm not scoffing anymore!

It's time to think about Mother's Day!

This year, due to my daughter's & my husband's birthday falling the week of Mother's Day, I will have to limit the number of orders I can accept for Mother's Day - so if you're thinking you may want something, order now, it's not too early!

Christening Cake

This was the Christening cake for the Elephant 1st birthday boy that I posted last month! Fondant covered with buttercream dots & monogram

My favorite part of these cakes is, of course, the ears! They're Sweet Spots (aka Cake balls) disguised as ears! Completely edible!

Easter & Birthdays

First, Easter treats -

Easter treats for neighbors - 2 cupcakes, 2 sugar cookies with icing in the middle and 4 Sweet Spots - throw in some jelly beans and M&Ms and wrap them up - Viola!
