Ana's Littlest Pet Shop Cake

Top layer is Funfetti with strawberry mousse
Secondary, "lake scene" cake is gluten free for a friend of the birthday girl who has Celiacs - white gf cake with strawberry mousse

Mini Cakes for Teacher Appreciation

I've been busy this week - I don't want to keep neglecting this site, so I figure I'll add as I go and then go back and add in older cakes in groups as I can (as I did the stars below).
Mini Cakes - there were 60 of these little bits of happiness:

This first group is white cake with vanilla mousse & buttercream - topped with sprinkles - who doesn't love sprinkles? AND lemon cake with lemon mousse and lemon buttercream. This group was Chocolate Overload - Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and chocolate buttercream!
All boxed up and read to go! 20 of each flavor - well, there was 1 extra for the principal for good measure!

Update from the principal:

WHAT A HIT!!! Everyone was excited about their cakes and as usual they are sooooo delicious. Thank you for helping me provide this unique and sweet treat for my staff.

Let's start with stars!

For those of you that don't know, I've been on a bit of a "stars" kick lately - and not just for patriotic holidays. Birthday cakes, Fathers day cakes, all sorts of stars! Here are some examples. These first 2 are nearly identical - though one has an added layer which is gluten free for the birthday girl who has Celiacs.
The bottom layer of this cake was white with strawberry mousse, while the top was white with chocolate mousse.
The bottom of this cake was white with strawberry mousse, the middle was lemon with lemon mousse and the top was gluten free white cake with lemon mousse.
This is a mini-star cake - the bottom was 6", top was 4" - both cakes were lemon with lemon mousse and raspberry preserves.
Another Father's Day stars cake - this one was pineapple cake with pineapple mousse. Also a 6" with a 4" on top

Even a sheet cake can be "starred" up! For one of my biggest fans! This is "wedding cake" with buttercream icing in the middle and on the outside.

Just because I said not "only" for patriotic holidays doesn't mean I've left them out! This was a red/white and blue cake completely. The cake layers were red and blue and had white buttercream in between.
Though I think this cake should technically go somewhere else - it fits the stars theme. Bottom layer was Orange with pineapple mousse, middle layer was lemon with lemon mousse and top was white with strawberry mousse - the birthday girl's favorite!

And last, but not least, the cake that I *think* started the stars obsession du jour (okay, of the year!) - for a Company dance banquet. All layers white with strawberry mousse.

All Sweets, All the Time!!

Finally, though you have to give me a bit of time, but I've set up a place online where I can post pictures of my cakes for those of you who have been asking to see them but aren't on Facebook (really? there are people out there still not on Facebook???)

At any rate...in no particular order - because I have years of cakes to get on here - this blog is set up entirely to showcase my cakes. I will add as many details as I can about each one!

Enjoy!
